To ensure an effective year as district governor, you must plan your year by setting goals that reflect the vision you have for your district during your term as governor. Basing your goals on the four elements of an effective club will ensure that Rotary, as an association, will grow and thrive. These operational measures of success provide a minimum base from which to start as you guide clubs to function effectively. To begin the goal-setting process, you must assess the district’s and clubs’ strengths and weaknesses, and then develop strategies for implementing goals.
