Nominating Committee for District Governor

國際扶輪細則規定地區都要經由提名委員會之程序來遴選地區總監提名人。除了英愛國際扶輪地區外每一個地區必須採用提名委員會除非及國際扶輪理事會特准。提名委員是依據每個地區在地區年會中決議通過的方法來推選。

The RI bylaws require that districts employ a nominating committee procedure for selecting the district governor-nominee. Each district, except those in Great Britain and Ireland, shall use the nominating committee procedure unless excused by the RI Board of Directors. Nominating committees are selected according to a method provided by each district in a resolution adopted at a district conference.

國際扶輪細則規定地區總監提名人的選舉，當提名委員會無法決定出一位候選人時，則應以通信投票或在地區年會中投票選出。

The RI bylaws provide for the selection of the district governor-nominee, when the nominating committee cannot agree on a candidate, either through ballot-by-mail or through voting at the district conference.

扶輪地區應於地區總監提名人出席國際講習會受訓之前一年之1月之前遴選一位地區總監提名人，並於提名當年之國際年會膺選為總監當選人。

The district shall select a nominee for governor no later than January of the year in which the nominee will be elected at the RI Convention, held immediately preceding the year in which such nominee is to be trained at the International Assembly.

All clubs and candidates must observe and comply with the rules and policies against campaigning, canvassing, and electioneering. The rules are stated in section 10.050 of the RI bylaws, and the policies and guidelines adopted by the RI Board can be found in the Manual of Procedure. The information to be included in a ballot-by-mail is available on request from the general secretary.
