As a district governor, you will be responsible for submitting the following items to RI:

• Monthly letter including the Membership-Attendance Report. Compute the district attendance percentage by dividing total club attendance figures by the number of clubs in the district (see sample in chapter 9, appendix 3)

• District Conference Report immediately after the conference (see chapter 12, p. 203)

• Documentation on succeeding district governor, due by January of your year as governor. Include the Governor-nominee Data Form (found in chapter 12 of this manual), one photo of nominee, and one photo of spouse

• Memo of Club Visit form for all clubs, due by 1 June

In addition to the monthly letter, you are responsible for filing several official communications with Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation. Each of these keeps the president of RI and the RI Secretariat informed of the activities and business in your district. Refer to the calendar in appendix 1 for more information on deadlines for official reports and other important dates during your terms as district governor-elect and district governor. Refer also to “The Rotary Foundation Calendar,” chapter 6 in The District Rotary Foundation Committee Manual (300), for a detailed description of Foundation mailing dates, announcement dates for approved grants, and due dates.
