As district governor, you will also be responsible for maintaining the informational materials that are periodically sent to you from RI. Each of these items is a valuable source for information and program promotion. Prime examples of these materials are THE ROTARIAN or your official regional magazine, and Rotary World, targeted to club, district, and international leaders, which is published five times a year in nine languages.

The RI constitution and bylaws provide specific duties to be carried out by the governor. As the administrative official in the district, the governor cannot be relieved of any authority or responsibility with regard to the clubs in the district.
