Now that
goals and your district organization have been drafted, you need to
select effective people to serve on your team. As you visit clubs and
attend various Rotary-sponsored events over the next several months, you
will see many potential candidates in action. Take the time to observe
Rotarians in leadership roles. Ask club presidents to make
recommendations for the district organization. The more candidates you
line up now, the more effectively you can make your final choices later.
By taking the time to observe, interview, check recommendations, and
examine the past successes of potential candidates, you can build a
district organization that will both serve the district and greatly
assist you during your year as governor. |
