District Leadership Team Communication

Communication is essential to the effectiveness of any team. Clear lines
of communication are especially relevant in the case of districts. At
the district level, governors, governors-elect, assistant governors,
district committees, and other district leaders must work together to
support effective clubs. To achieve success, district leaders must
understand their roles and responsibilities with respect to
communicating with other district leaders and with clubs. |

Because assistant governors have the most frequent interaction with
clubs, you may prefer to route all information through the assistant
governor. District committees wishing to provide information to clubs
should send that information through the assistant governor assigned to
that club. In turn, the assistant governor can provide
committee-specific club information to the various district committees. |

Another
option is to encourage district chairs and assistant governors to
correspond freely with clubs, copying each other as appropriate. |
