The programs of The Rotary Foundation are listed below. If you are considering using a Foundation program to meet district goals and need additional information, use the program’s title to conduct a search on RI’s Web site (www.rotary.org), consult the handouts you will receive at your governors-elect training seminar (GETS), or order the appropriate publication from RI’s warehouse, international offices, or on RI’s Web site (www.rotary.org).

人道計劃*

Humanitarian Programs*

Matching Grants — Assist Rotary clubs and districts in carrying out humanitarian international service projects in cooperation with Rotarians in another country — Matching Grants Information Card (140)

District Simplified Grants — Allow Rotarians rapid access to their District Designated Funds to undertake a variety of service projects whether locally or internationally — to be created

Individual Grants — Fund individual Rotarians or small groups of Rotarians to provide short-term international volunteer service or to travel to plan an international service project — to be created

PolioPlus Program — Grants provide polio vaccines, mobilize community resources, and support operational costs related to international efforts to immunize children, detect and track cases, and eradicate polio worldwide — PolioPlus Brochure (323)

Educational Programs

Ambassadorial Scholarships — Offer individuals the opportunity to pursue a degree while increasing international understanding and friendly relations among people of different countries — Ambassadorial Scholarships Leaflet (132)

Group Study Exchange (GSE) Program — Offers a cultural and vocational exchange opportunity to young business and professional men and women in their initial years of professional life — Group Study Exchange Brochure (160)

Rotary Centers for International Studies in peace and conflict resolution — Provide the opportunity for scholars to focus on learning to deal with the obstacles that impede international cooperation and peace — Rotary Centers for International Studies Brochure (081)

Rotary Grants for University Teachers — Awarded to higher education faculty to teach at universities or colleges in developing countries in order to foster international understanding and development while strengthening higher education — Rotary Grants for University Teachers Leaflet/Application (193)

Fund Development

Annual Programs Fund — Contributions fund the international educational, cultural, and humanitarian programs of The Rotary Foundation — Two Needs, Two Ways of Giving (173)

Permanent Fund — Endowed fund that is invested in perpetuity, with a percentage of the total value of the fund spent annually to benefit the programs of The Rotary Foundation — Two Needs, Two Ways of Giving (173)

SHARE System — The Rotary Foundation’s unique contribution allocation system, providing districts with control over how contributions are spent and enabling districts to participate in the Foundation programs that are of the most interest to them — SHARE Allocation Workbook (Web only)
