Past Rotary International President Arch C. Klumph had a deep
affection for Rotary. A member of the Rotary Club of
Cleveland, Ohio, USA, Past President Klumph was the first to
dream of all the good that Rotarians could do with the
Foundation to build a better world. |

He proposed an “endowment for doing good in the world” at the
1917 Rotary Convention in Atlanta. Now his dream is a reality,
and we are able to witness all of the good works this vision
has produced in over 168 countries throughout the world. |

Donors whose cumulative contributions amount to US$250,000 or
greater qualify for the Arch C. Klumph Society. Society
members’ portraits are installed in the Arch C. Klumph Gallery
on the 17th floor of Rotary International’s World
Headquarters. This distinguished group includes supporters
from all parts of the globe, including India, Dubai, Taiwan,
Japan, Australia, USA, Italy, Korea, Germany, the Philippines,
England, Canada and Kenya. |

Arch C. Klumph Society members have generously supported The
Rotary Foundation for many reasons. With their help the
Foundation is fulfilling its promise of creating a Polio-free
world. Children and families are living healthier lives
through Rotary’s Humanitarian Grants Program. Educational and
cultural exchange programs are building lasting friendships
and mutual understanding. Member support enables tomorrow’s
leaders to live and study together as Rotary World Peace
Fellows and provides them the opportunity to begin building a
more peaceful world. Through the commitment and leadership of
Arch C. Klumph society members The Rotary Foiundation is able
to continue its work toward a more humane and peaceful world. |
