I
would like to express my sincere appreciation to all of you who
invited me today and provided me with celebration today. Thank you
very much. |

我是津田，和在座的上野 孝前總監同是2001-2002年度的總監。 |
I am
Kenzo Tsuda who served as District Governor in 2001-2002, the same
year as Past District Governor Takashi Uyeno who is present here
today. |
|
我所屬的地區是第2770地區。和前國際扶輪理事田中作次屬於同一個地區。我任職地區總監以及捐獻巨金的機會都是田中作次前理事鼓勵的。雖然，我最初都不免有些躊躇，但是後來我都感到接受了他的鼓勵是對的。所以，我要感謝田中前理事。 |
My
district, District 2770, is the same as that of Mr. Sakuji Tanaka’s.
He was the one who encouraged me to become a District Governor, and a
major donor. When he encouraged me to do so, actually, I was somewhat
reluctant, however, later, I am very happy I accepted his
encouragement. I thank Mr. Tanaka for encouraging me to do so. |

我的地區裏有一個扶輪社的社長把自己的年度主題定爲「把扶輪當作心上人」。這個扶輪社將全力注入服務活動計劃中。因爲下面的3個理由，我也愛扶輪如同愛心上人。 |
One of
the club presidents in my district has “Make Rotary Your True Love” as
his theme. This club is very active in their service activities. I
also love Rotary as my true love. There are 3 reasons for this. |

第1，在我學習與實踐扶輪的服務精神中，我逐漸培育了「爲他人著想」的心態。 |
First,
through learning about and practicing Rotary’s service activities, the
sentiment to be “considerate to others” has been strengthened. |
|
第2，扶輪帶給我們與從事不同行業的人交流的機會。其中許多的營業者都有他獨特的敬業理想，非常值得學習。所以，我從結識的人們中也學到了經營的訣竅。 |
Secondly, Rotary provides a place for people from different vocations
to come together. The management idea that only the best of the field
can join is the basic operation of this organization. Therefore,
through interacting with these excellent people, I also gained
management knowledge. |
|
第3，扶輪社員中有很多人格高超，值得崇敬的人。我經常從他們那裏學到爲人該遵行的生活規範和道德觀。 |
And
thirdly, there are many Rotarians with high integrity. There morality
and high standard of conduct continue to inspire me. |
|
我這次的捐獻是爲了要報答扶輪給了我這麽有意義的人生。 |
My
donation is to thank Rotary and to give back to Rotary what it has
been offering me. |

我誠心感謝各位。 |
Thank
you from the bottom of my heart. |

今後，我會繼續致力扶輪運動。 |
I will
continue to further my effort in Rotary activities. |
