親愛的參與者Dear Participants：

有關您的資訊，亞洲的非典型性肺炎SARS情況幾乎結束，尤其在新加坡完全掌控並且新加坡已經被世界衛生組織WHO從SARS影響的地區的名單中移除。我在此提醒你們2003年新加坡地帶扶輪研習會將在2003年11月7-9日於新加坡如期舉行。該2003年新加坡研習會將不延期或者取消！

For your information, the SARS situation in Asia is almost over, especially in Singapore it is well under control and Singapore has already been removed from the list of SARS-affected areas by WHO. I would like to call your attention that the 2003 Singapore Rotary Zone Institute will be held during 7-9 November 2003 in Singapore as scheduled. The 2003 Singapore Institute will not be postponed or cancelled!  

作為2003年新加坡地帶研習會召集人，以能邀請第4(B)、6(B)、7(B)地帶中的所有扶輪社員出席這麼重要場合將是我無上的歡愉與榮耀。國際扶輪社長強納生馬奇約伯Jonathan B. Majiyagbe和國際扶輪社長當選人艾思悌士爵士Glen E. Estess將會與我們一同參與新加坡研習會，我確信由於您的參與，2003年新加坡地帶扶輪研習將會是一個成功並值得懷念的會議。期盼望在11月7-9日間於新加坡與所有您們相會！

As the Convenor of 2003 Singapore Zone Institute, it is my great pleasure and honor to invite all Rotarians in Zone 4(B), 6(B), 7(B) to attend this important occasion. R.I. President Jonathan B. Majiyagbe and RIPE Glen E. Estess will join us at the Singapore Institute, I am sure with your participation the 2003 Singapore Institute will be a successful and memorable one. Looking forward to seeing all of you in Singapore during November 7th - 9th!

Convener's Message

WELCOME TO SINGAPORE !

R.I. President-Elect Jonathan B. Majiyagbe has decided that the 2003 Rotary Institute for Zone 4(B), 6(B) and 7(B) be held in Singapore during 7th -9th November 2003 as this event will be a memorable one for Rotarians in Asia.

On behalf of President Jonathan B. Majiyagbe (2003-04), I wish to invite cordially and welcome all participants to this important meeting. Your taking the time to be a part of this Institute is greatly appreciated.

Besides being a great place for fellowship, the Institute is vital on providing a place where the incoming, current and past RI Officers and their spouses get-together and provide Rotary information as well as RI activities. It provides a forum for learning, discussion and inspiration, which will engender fellowship and a team spirit among all participants.

The Organizing Committee Chairman - PDG Fong Hoe Beng and his team have already started working hard for the Institute. A comprehensive program has been drafted, and I am sure if you can participate this important occasion, you will have a very happy and rewarding experience in Singapore.

Lastly, Singapore is a beautiful Island Nation- so cosmopolitan, friendly and progressive. The weather in November is superb and for the ladies, there are many shopping Malls and wide range of restaurants for you to enjoy. So, please note in your diaries the dates : 7th -9th November, 2003. Once again, I want to say WELCOME TO SINGAPORE and The 2003 SINGAPORE ROTARY ZONE INSTITUTE!

Subject: Rotary news from Taiwan

Dear PRID Huang,

It has been quite a while since we have carried any news of Rotary in Taiwan
in Rotary World.  I'm wondering if you know of any good service activities
there that we have been overlooking.
