前社長Garnet
Trim-Line

The
“brain child” of PP Garnet Ward was a 28’ trailer truck
(shown
above), painted on all sides, displaying the Rotary message. It travels
every day on the main highways throughout
central
and southern Alberta, Canada. The cost, US$2,657, was totally FREE to
Rotarians, as it was paid for by Hi-Way 9 and Trim-Line of Central
Alberta. Another truck is in the planning stages. |

DG Susan
Cook partnered with Rotarian Paul Hammond, owner of Muskoka Transport,
who donated a huge trailer. It features a polio billboard (little boy
running), centennial logo, The Four-Way Test, district logo, and the
names of all 44 clubs in the district. The cost of US$4,400 sounds
expensive, but divided among 44 clubs it is $100 each. The truck will
travel 72,000 miles over a 10-year period and spread the Rotary message
throughout Ontario, other parts of Canada, and the United States.
