扶輪基金會保管委員會在去年10月的會議中，指派加拿大安大略省科堡的前國際扶輪副社長史考特(Robert Scott)，出任根除小兒痲痺募款運動的主委(此為義務無給職)。他接替因健康因素辭職的前國際扶輪秘書長皮格曼(Herbert Pigman)。已從醫師工作退休的史考特，目前擔任扶輪基金會的根除小兒痲痺宣導特別工作小組主委。
At its meeting last October, The Rotary Foundation Board of Trustees appointed Past RI Vice President Robert Scott, of Cobourg, Ontario, Canada, as director of the polio eradication fundraising campaign (PEFC), a post he filled immediately on a voluntary basis. He succeeded former RI General Secretary Herbert Pigman, who resigned for health reasons. A retired physician, Scott chairs The Rotary Foundation's Polio Eradication Advocacy Task Force.
