問題：我聽說扶輪在中國有扶輪社，可是我在「公式名錄」裡找不到。本社有興趣在中國辦理服務計劃。我們要如何與當地的扶輪社聯絡？

Q: I heard that Rotary has clubs in China, but I can't find them in the Official Directory. My club is interested in doing a service project in China. How do we contact the clubs there?

答：2001年6月，國際扶輪理事會同意給予北京及上海扶輪社臨時社的地位；這2個臨時社在中華人民共和國立法通過，准許它們像扶輪社完整運作之前，將繼續保持臨時社的地位。扶輪基金會已經同意讓它們參與人道計劃。

A: In June 2001, the RI Board granted provisional status to clubs in Beijing and Shanghai; these clubs will remain provisional until the People's Republic of China enacts legislation permitting them to function fully as Rotary clubs. The Rotary Foundation has agreed to allow these clubs to participate in its Humanitarian Programs.
