With RI's 94th annual convention in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, just months away, the Rotary family is once again gearing up for an unforgettable experience of international fellowship.

In addition to conducting Rotary's business during the 1-4 June event, participants will enjoy a package of recreational events sponsored by the Host Organization Committee, including a free welcome party on 31 May, in celebration of Australia's multicultural heritage and Rotary's cultural diversity.

On 1 June, Rotarians will be on hand to witness Queensland Premier Peter Beattie and RI President Bhichai Rattakul unveil a sculpture of Sir Thomas Brisbane at a special ceremony. The work of art, commissioned by the city and local Rotarians, will be a permanent memento of the 2003 RI Convention.

The following day, members of Brisbane Rotary clubs will host overseas Rotarians at their homes for dinner. On 3 June, convention-goers will have the opportunity to attend a Host Organization Committee-sponsored party combining a barbecue with bush craft, horsemanship, and classic Australian entertainment.

從5月30日開放的友誼之家將展出扶輪計劃，以及能讓訪客體會真正澳洲待客之道的產品與活動。

The House of Friendship, which opens its doors on 30 May, will showcase Rotary programs and projects, as well as products and activities aimed at giving visitors true Australian hospitality.
