2005年馬尼拉國際扶輪地帶研習會於今天中午結束時，扶輪地帶研習會的會旗由2005年馬尼拉研習會主委Melito Salazar移交給2006年雅加達研習會學主委Mark Y K Wong。

雅加達研習會於2006年12月1-3日假印尼首都舉行，是由今年度的共同召集人國際扶輪理事Noraseth Pathmanand。印尼最近主辦扶輪地帶研習會是在1997年。

今年度的扶輪研習會，涵蓋了第4B、6B和7B地帶，有1,104代表出席包括了扶輪社員和配偶們，留給人們一個深刻的印像。這些參加Westin菲律賓大會場三天活動的是前任、現任和未來的地區總監以及扶輪社社長們扶輪。

名列首位代表的是國際扶輪社長威罕•施當恆，他是在開幕前一個夜晚抵達的。

扶輪研習會能主辦三個全體會議和九個分組會議。除了開幕式和閉幕式之外，還舉辦了歡迎晚宴和國際之夜來讓代表們歡愉快樂。

受到扶輪研習會是如何的讓人知曉而感動，召集人JocJoc Bolante(國際扶輪理事和財務)說：〝當扶輪研習會結束時，我的心充滿著對現場許多扶輪領導人感激之情，並讓分享完全鼓舞了我們。而極大數量參與者的出席是4B、6B和7B地帶扶輪力量的一種凝聚的象徵。這將非常激勵我們全體返鄉去更從事有關人道的行善。〞

共同召集人國際扶輪理事Noraseth論及：〝在過去15年內，我有機會出席許多國際和扶輪研習會，包括擔任兩次扶輪研習會主委。隨著這種表現和經驗，我毫不猶豫的說此次2005年4B、6B和7B地帶馬尼拉研習會，在國際扶輪理事JocJoc Bolante召集下以及主委PDG Melito Salazar主持之下，是我見過最好的扶輪研習會。〞

〝我想要藉此機會稱讚召集人和扶輪研習會主委的領導以及感謝扶輪研習會整個團隊讓這個活動是多麼成功。〞

最後，辛勞的主委，前地區總監PDG Mel說：〝我們感謝所有祝賀我們成功的扶輪研習會的扶輪社員們。他們的稱讚理所當然地應屬於無數菲律賓的扶輪社員們，他們從機場到飯店至研討會會場展現聯誼，以菲律賓人的殷勤招待灑向每一個人。我們為他們的努力與辛勞的工作而傲。〞

〝我們感謝國際扶輪社長威罕•施當恆、召集人JocJoc與共同召集人Noraseth，由於他們的信賴與共同主委Danny Yu 和Gil Divinagracia和我自己一樣的信心。正如往常一樣，依然是最好的。2006年雅加達再見！〞

The 2005 Manila Rotary International Zone Institute ends at noon today with the turnover of the Zone Institute flag from 2005 Manila Institute Chairman Melito Salazar to 2006 Jakarta Institute Chairman Mark Y K Wong.

Convening the Jakarta Institute, which is scheduled Dec 1-3, 2006 in the Indonesian capital, is this year’s co-Convenor, RI Director Noraseth Pathmanand. The last time Indonesia hosted the Zone Institute was in 1997.

This year’s Institute, which covers Zones 4B, 6B and 7B, has an impressive attendance of 1,104 delegates composed of both Rotarians and Spouses. Those who attended the three-day event at the Westin Philippine Plaza were past, present and future District Governors as well as Club Presidents.

Heading the list of delegates is no less than the RI President Carl-Wilhelm Stenhammar who arrived the night before the opening.

The Institute was able to hold three plenary sessions and nine breakout sessions. Apart from the opening and closing ceremonies, a welcome dinner and an international night was held to the delight of the delegates.

Touched by how the Institute transpired, Convenor JocJoc Bolante (RI Director and Treasurer) said: “As the Institute closes, my heart is full of gratitude for the many Rotary leaders whose presence and sharing have inspired us all. The tremendous turnout of participants is a concrete sign of the strength of Rotary in Zones 4B, 6B, and 7B. All of us will go home greatly encouraged to do more good for humanity.”

Co-Convenor Dir Noraseth commented: “In the past 15 years, I have had the opportunities to attend many international and Rotary Institutes, including serving as Institute Chair twice. With this kind of exposure and experience, I have no hesitation in saying the 2005 Manila Institute for Zones 4B, 6B, and 7B convened by RID JocJoc Bolante and chaired by PDG Melito Salazar is the best Institute I have seen.

“I would like to take this opportunity to commend the leadership of the Convenor and the Institute Chair and to thank the entire team of the Institute Committee for making this event a highly successful one.”

And lastly, the hardworking Chairman, PDG Mel remarked: “We thank all the Rotarians who have congratulated us for a successful Institute. Their praises rightly belong to the countless Philippine Rotarians who, from the airport to the hotel to the sessions to the fellowship, showered everyone with the famous Filipino hospitality. We are proud of their efforts and hard work.
