26位地區總監 當選人的配偶們享受3810地區剛卸任前地區總監Joel Tinitigan的〝創造扶輪奇蹟〞。10月18日上星期二在Westin Philippine Plaza大飯店的配偶論壇裡致詞，IPDG Joel 制定配偶全力支持地區總監必要特點。

The 26 spouses of the District Governors Elect were enjoined “to make miracles for Rotary” by Immediate Past District Governor Joel Tinitigan (D3810). Speaking at the Spouses Forum last Tuesday, 18 October, at the Westin Philippine Plaza, IPDG Joel laid down the necessary traits that the spouses would need to fill in the most important support to a District Governor.

IPDG Joel說一位理想的地區總監配偶應同時像似〝一位顧問、批評家、金融家、管家、司機、和一位機要秘書〞。

IPDG Joel said that an ideal District Governor’s Spouse will be like “a counsellor, a critic, a financier, a butler, a driver, and an executive secretary” all at the same time.

他也找出一位地區總監配偶的角色所必需的不同特點：膽識、謙遜、才智和對其配偶與扶輪組織的承諾。

He also identified the different traits vital to the role of a DG Spouse: courage, humility, wisdom and commitment to her spouse and the Rotary organization.

〝如果妳行使所有這些特點〞IPDG Joel說，〝妳和地區總監將能夠創造扶輪奇蹟。〞

“If you exercise all this,” IPDG Joel said, “you and your DG will be able to do miracles for Rotary.”

這些配偶們有整整兩天的議程表。在所有會議之後帶領她們單獨的或者與偕伴到馬尼拉大城市博物館，同時她們也有幾個小時的時間於附近的購物中心買東西。她們可從一些照片上看到有一段美好時光。而扶輪研習會主委Mel Salazar擔任攝影師得角色。

The spouses had a full two-day schedule. After all the sessions they attended either singly or with their partners, they also were brought to a tour of the Manila Metropolitan Museum as well as given a few hours to do some shopping in nearby malls.
