3520地區簡介

A Brief Introduction to District 3520

The district was a spin-off of District 3480 in 1997 shortly after the resolution of the Board of Governors of Rotary International. The service territory includes the northern, eastern and southern part of the Taipei City and their adjacent urban areas of Xi-ji, Tam-shui, Wan-li and Jin-shan. It is classified under RI Zone 4B.

The district was established on July 1, 1998. There are 3,340 Rotarians in the district from 80 clubs with average age of 45. Their vocations are widely diversified cross the industries and also include medical doctors, lawyers, architects and certified public accounts. They are not only successful leaders in various fields, but also dedicated and committed to the social services.

The district services are planned and executed under the leadership of the Governor and the clubs. The district secretary and deputy secretaries are responsible for the administrations whereas committee chairs consolidate the planning and implementation of the services within the responsible domains. The 80 clubs are organized further into 14 Groups. The 14 designated Assistant Governors and Deputy Assistant Governors coordinate the club services and activities within each group.
