I met my host counselor again!

Mr. Kumarth Neekpay was my host counselor when I visited the U.K. as a Rotary Cultural Scholar in the Rotary International District 1290 in 2003.  Knowing Rotarians and experiencing different things from him, I had a very unforgettable life in the U.K.!

(The first time I met Ku in Plymouth in 2003)

Ku is outgoing and full of enthusiasm on hosting the Rotary scholars. Although I had left the U.K. for 7 years, I still can receive his best wishes by the phone call or mobile texts in the Chinese New Year every year!

I got married in April in 2011. The biggest surprised was that I can't believed Ku promised to attend my wedding because the date is after the Prince William's royal wedding. I was very excited I can met him again, especially on my big day! It was like a dream. I reconnect my British family!

On behalf of my family, it was really our big pleasure that Ku's visiting! He flew from London to Taiwan directly, followed all the traditional Taiwan wedding schedule. According to my Mom's saying, she can't speak English, but she can understand Ku's warmly smiling.

¡ÕRight¡ÖMimi¡¦s daughter expected to sing the birthday song for Ku.

During Ku's shorten staying in Taiwan, I invited the Rotary scholars, Mabel, Mimi, Charles and Royal, who had been to the U.K. to meet him. The day after the wedding, Mimi and Royal took him to Yingge for sightseeing at the daytime. My husband and I held a small birthday party in Taipei in the evening.

Owning to the Rotary foundation, I have had the chance to meet Ku. I will always treasure the special friendship with Ku and other Rotarians In England. Furthermore, I wish I can go to visit Ku and my British friends with my husband one day!
