Major gifts are at least US$10,000 and can be made either to the Annual Programs Fund, Permanent Fund, or a restricted TRF program.

Major gifts to the Annual Programs Fund are spent in full. Examples include challenge gifts and US$25,000 gifts to establish a named Ambassadorial Scholarship to fund one scholar for one year of study.

Major gifts to the Permanent Fund provide program support in perpetuity. Donors may name gifts at the following levels:

Unusual or complex gifts are referred by TRF staff to the General Secretary’s Gift Acceptance Committee for review.
