扶輪基金現在與未來對我有什麼意義

Without The Rotary Foundation, RI would be just another administrative body. The Foundation has made valuable contributions to world peace, promoted goodwill among peoples and have given service to humanity more than any other similar organization. TRF will continue to help Rotarians’ vision for making this world a better place to live in.

沒有扶輪基金會，國際扶輪僅僅只是另一種行政單位而已。扶輪基金會創造了對世界和平的有價值的貢獻、促進人類的親善並從事人道的服務，比任何其他類似組織來得多。扶輪基金會將繼續協助扶輪社員的願憬，使這個世界成為一個更適於居住的地方。

Turgut studied civil engineering in the US at Colorado University and New York University where he received his master’s degree. He returned to Turkey for employment in engineering.  In 1985 he became managing director of Dürüst Is A.S., an import/export business. Turgut is a member of the Istanbul Chambers of Commerce and Industry. He is founding member of both the Child Kidney Foundation and the Foundation for Fighting Leprosy.

Turgut在美國科羅拉多和紐約大學攻讀土木工程並得到他的碩士學位。他返回土耳其受雇於工程。在1985年他成為Dürüst Is A.S. 進出口商業的總經理。Turgut是位伊斯坦堡工商會會員。他同時是兒童腎臟基金會以及抗痲瘋病基金會的創始會員。

A Rotarian since 1975, Turgut is a member of the Rotary club of Istanbul-Topkapi, where he served as club president in 1986-87. He gave the invocation at the 1996 Calgary Convention closing ceremony, and was guest speaker at the 1996 Zones 27-28 Institute. Turgut serves as District Trainer (2003-present).

於1975年成為扶輪社員，Turgut 是Istanbul-Topkapi扶輪社社員，於1986-87年度擔任扶輪社社長。他在1996年卡加力國際年會閉幕式中擔任祈願職務，並且是1996年27-28地帶研習會的主講人。Turgut擔任地區訓練人(2003年至今)。

While serving as District Governor, Turgut oversaw a project to provide volunteer doctors, technicians, and humanitarian aid to war–torn Bosnia-Herzegovina. The district sent several groups, each stayed one to two weeks at a time and performed surgeries, treated general conditions, and educated their Bosnia colleagues on the newest medical techniques and developments. Clubs also provided medicine, medical supplies and equipment, clothing and more worth nearly one million dollars.

Turgut is a Paul Harris fellow, Major Donor, and Foundation Benefactor. 

在擔任總監時，Turgut監督一個義工計劃提供醫生、技術員和人道主義者援助波斯尼亞與黑塞哥維那分裂戰爭。該地區派遣幾個小組，每一個小組停留兩星期並完成的外科手術、也提供了一般醫療設備，並教育他們的波斯尼亞醫生最新醫療技術和產品。扶輪社也提供了幾乎值一百萬美元的醫藥、醫療器材與設備、衣物。
