The celebration of the 100th Aniversity of Rotary International and the centennial projects has changed the direction and future of rotary interaction forever.

I would like to focus on the events in the state of Arizona USA.

Arizona became a state in 1914 and as a state is 91 years old – younger than Rotary.

There are three [3] Rotary district in Arizona and approximately 5,000 Rotarians.

The three [3] district governors agreed to work together in promoting the 100th Aniversity of Rotary.

During the week of February 23, 2005 Rotary was celebrated through out the state of Arizona and Through out the World.

Nothing like this has ever happened in Rotary. Rotary united through celebrating its successes and taking action to establish and promote Rotary’s future.

Conclusion

Rotary International and the Rotary Foundation have spent 100 years trying to get the Rotary Club of the world on the same page og thinking and acting.

The programs and the celebration of this centennial year has succeeded in uniting most of the Rotary Clubs to be working in the same direction. “Peace”

This will make the next 100 years of Rotary an event the world has never seen before.

There will be better understanding and peace in the world, through Rotary, you and I can help achieve this dream.
